Dan Youra worked at Rolling Meadows County Mental Hospital in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He completed graduate courses at the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan and in the Behavioral Science Laboratory at Ohio State University. He worked on the Puerto Rico Information and Decision Environment (PRIDE) project, a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded program for the National Governors Conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Dan designed and set up computer networks for the Washington State Council on Higher Education and the Washington State Library. His company Youra Media creates intellectual property for media companies and publishes websites, magazines, and books.
